As a post activity to reading I Am Martin Luther King, Jr. by Brad Meltzer, I used these quiz questions for our "MLK Dream Bowl" competition. Classes were placed into two teams and approached the podium with a bell in between them as I presented each question. The content matched perfectly with the book. Bravo!

My district adopted CKLA and this resource was perfect for our last unit, Treasure Island. The students absolutely loved writing a story about a pirate.

My students have enjoyed these prompts! I love the variety of graphic organizers available. We used these leading up to our zoo field trip.

This was a lot of fun. It really got the kids talking about their stories and gave them ideas when they were struggling.
